Choosing the Right Service to Start With

Most new patients start with an initial psychiatric evaluation. It takes about 60 minutes and ends with a written plan. From there, follow-up visits, medication management, or psychotherapy build on that plan as needed.

Some needs are different. If you already have a provider and want another careful view, a psychiatric second opinion may fit better. If you need a clinical letter, ask about it when you book. If you are not sure, call and we will help you choose where to start.

Services are open to every age. Children and teens, adults, and seniors each have their own focus. Busy professionals and executives can choose a service built around demanding schedules. Every service is by secure telehealth video from anywhere in California.

How Private Pay Works Across Services

Every service has a flat, published fee. There are no surprise insurance bills and no waiting for approval. You know the cost before you book, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted. See the full list on the fees page.

The practice does not bill insurance. If your plan has out-of-network benefits, you can ask for a superbill and send it in yourself. Your plan decides what, if anything, it pays back, so check with your insurer first.

Please keep the cancellation policy in mind. Give 48 hours notice to change a visit. Later changes may be charged 50 percent, and same-day cancellations or missed visits are charged the full fee.

What Happens After Your First Visit

Your written plan is the starting point. Follow-up visits check how the plan is working and change it when needed. If medicine is part of the plan, your prescriber decides what fits and sends it to the pharmacy you choose.

Between visits, you can send a message. Messages are returned within one business day. Appointments are offered Monday through Sunday, by appointment only, in English, Punjabi, Hindi, or Spanish.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a follow-up visit and a psychotherapy session?

A follow-up visit checks how your treatment plan is working, including any medicine. A psychotherapy session focuses on talk therapy. A follow-up is $199 and a therapy session is $199.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card?

Yes. HSA and FSA cards are accepted for all services.

Will my insurance pay me back?

It depends on your plan. The practice does not bill insurance, but a superbill is available on request so you can seek possible out-of-network payback.

How often will I need follow-up visits?

It depends on your needs and your plan. You and your provider decide the schedule together, and it may change as you improve or your plan changes.

Do you offer in-person visits?

No. Every visit is by secure telehealth video. You need to be physically in California during each visit.

How soon can I be seen?

New patients are usually seen within days. You can book online or call (888) 457-8124 to find a time.
